I showed up and there was a free extra ticket. Then the director sat next to me.
The show had an improv feel. Lots of times someone was yelling "explosions" when there were scenes from the movie being acted out, the ones that people know contain explosions.
There were dick jokes, pedo jokes, but my favorite was when the terminator hit his shin on a box. For one ten minute stretch there was no song, no jokes, and no laughs. But that was just one part. Most of the time people were laughing regularly. I laughed alone several times. I thought that was me being foreign.
It might have been better if there was an intermission and a chance to get more drunk? I don't think that speaks well to the show.
Anyway, most of the actors could really sing. The young John Connor really did the best. It was cool when the music guy stepped onto the stage and then ran back to play keyboard over a bit.
Anyway, nice work. 4 microphones.
